（坎培拉28日综合电）澳洲强烈热浪可能让维多利亚州大规模森林大火进一步蔓延，该州大多数地区发布极端火灾评级，维莫拉地区出现最高警告级别，密杜拉市气温恐飙至摄氏45度，政府已下令可能受到火灾影响的多个乡镇3万居民要在周三上午之前撤离。
澳洲炎热、干燥、多风的天气在维多利亚州与南澳州部分地区构成“极端至灾难性的火灾危险”，气温已迅速升至摄氏40度，风速达到每小时60至70公里。消防员近日一直在墨尔本以西约190公里乡镇巴音丁（Bayindeen）与林火奋战，但至今火势尚未受控，至今已有6栋民宅烧毁，当局担忧大风、干燥等天气条件可能会使火势蔓延至高密度住宅区。
维多利亚州大多数地区已经发布极端火灾评级，其中维莫拉（Wimmera）来到最高警告级别的灾难等级，即若发生火灾，火势将无法控制，至于拥有5.6万人口的密杜拉市（Mildura）气温可能攀升至摄氏45度。维多利亚州森林大火管理机构透过社群平台X表示，有100多座州立森林关闭，数十所学校与孩童照护中心关门。
当局所认定的潜在火灾区域覆盖多个乡镇，敦促当地约3万名居民要在周三上午撤离。维多利亚州乡村消防局长赫弗南（Jason Heffernan）表示，这对消防人员来说将是非常具有挑战性的一天，是社区可能需要在极短时间内立即采取行动的日子之一。
